– Mr. Kabeer Baig, BSc.Phm, MBA
Mr. Baig has over 10 years of Pharmacy Management experience with various private and corporate organizations throughout his career. Mr. Baig’s operational and management skills gained through his experience as a Director for the largest Retail Hospital Pharmacy department in Canada (four separate pharmacy sites, over 140,000 scripts per year) has provided him with a comprehensive insight in preparing private and public payer documents, liaising with public policy makers, reimbursement submissions, developing and training staff, working with all provincial formularies and developing drug access programs.
Since 2001 Mr. Baig has been intimately involved with the dispensing and distribution of specialty medications in numerous therapeutic areas including Oncology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Nephrology and Neurology. He has worked with several key opinion leaders in these fields and the Pharmaceutical industry with pre and post market clinical trials and drug access programs.
- Mr. John Leombruno
Mr. John Leombruno, is currently President of Clinical and Patient Services as well as a consultant to the industry. He has responsibility for four key PatientDirect Pharma Solutions Departments; Clinical Research, Patient Programs, Market Access and Medical Clinic Infrastructure.
Formally trained as a Pharmacist, John has earned an MBA and an MSc in Pharmacoeconomics and is in the later stages of his doctorial training in Pharmacoepidemiology. His key research interests include the design and analysis of clinical trials, the use of administrative databases, and statistical research into various data pooling methods for estimating drug safety.
John has responsibility and experience in many areas of the pharmaceutical industry ranging from market access, medical information, pharmacovigilance, medical affairs and business development and has had roles ranging from Manager, Market Access to Vice President, Medical Affairs. John has been intimately involved in the developing and implementing of RiskMAPs in Canada and the US.
